Overkill me

I can’t get to sleep
I think about the implications

(make a conditional sentence)

…………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Of diving in too deep
And possibly the complications

Especially at night
I worry over situations

(put this sentence into simple past/present perfect)

…………………………………………………………………………………………………
I know I’ll be alright
Perhaps it’s just imagination

(please make a subordinate sentence with because

…………………………………………………………………………………………………..Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away

Reporteted speech: He said that ..……………………………………………………………………………………..…………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Alone between the sheets
Only brings exasperation
It’s time to walk the streets
Smell the desperation

(use the simple past)

…………………………………………………………………………………………………..

At least there’s pretty lights
And though there’s little variation
It nullifies the night from overkill
(substitute though with despite)

…………………………………………………………………………………………………

…Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away
Come back another day

I can’t get to sleep

(put can’t into the future)…………………………………………………………………

I think about the implications
Of diving in too deep
And possibly the complications

Especially at night
I worry over situations
I know I’ll be alright
It’s just overkill

Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away
Ghosts appear and fade away
Ghosts appear and fade away

  1. Hello Robert,
It’s really good to hear that somebody realizes that it takes
a lot of energy to do this but I also enjoy doing it.
    Have a good day.
    Bye Martina

  2. Hello,
I just wanted to tell you that wordpress.com hosts my blog; so it’s up to you if you want to change.
I don’t think that hyperlinks work in our case.
    Best regards
    Martina
