Susan Boyle/Memory

SUSAN BOYLE AND HER BEAUTIFUL VOICE

A few weeks ago nobody knew anything about this 47 year old lady from Scotland but when she performed in Britain’s  Got Talent  show, singing “I dreamed a Dream” from the musical “Les Misérables” she became practically famous from one second to the other, despite the fact that the audience and the judges had been very apprehensive and, as far as I see it, full of prejudices  at the beginning because of her age and the way she looked like.
Even though she didn’t win yesterday’s final competition, I think it’s worthwhile listening to her outstanding voice and songs.

I also include the lyrics from the songs Susan sang at the competition,

Memory is from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Cats.”

TO MEMORY:

– From where is no sound coming?………………………………

– Where are the withered leaves?……………………………….

– What does the wind do?………………………………………..

– What does the main character smile about?……………………………………

– What does she want to let live?…………………………………………………….

– What does she have to wait for?…………………………………………………..

– What is over and what is approaching?…………………………………………

– What is she alone with?……………………………………
